Tucson Leads Series 1-0 After Walk-Off Win
The Tucson Sidewinders took the first game of the Round 2 in dramatic fashion today, topping the Shreveport Swamp Dragons 5-4 in an extra-inning walk-off win. Sidewinders second baseman Whit Merrifield was 2 for 5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2.

In the bottom of the tenth, with the score tied, Merrifield hammered a solo home run to win it for Tucson.

"We did enough to win," said Merrifield.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Hi Corbett Field in Tucson.
