Sidewinders Move on to Round 3
The Tucson Sidewinders are on to the Round 3 after a convincing series win over the Shreveport Swamp Dragons.

Tucson wrapped up the series sweep with a 4-0 win in the last game, to take the series 4-0.

"We expected to win and we executed the way we needed to," said Joe P Wood, who was named series MVP.

For the series, Wood hit .500 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 3 runs.

The Tucson Sidewinders will play against the Providence Clamdiggers in the next round. Providence won their series against the Des Moines Demons 4 games to 0. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes.
