Francisco Bashes 5 Base Hits
It was a sensational day at the plate for Ben Francisco as he led the charge to a 11-2 win over the Tarpons. The Lexington left fielder was pure misery for the Tampa Bay pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.

"Francisco put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Travis Jackson, manager for the Tarpons, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."

Ben Francisco singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Charlie Robertson in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Charlie Robertson in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

This season Francisco has hit at a .310 clip with 61 RBIs, 24 home runs and 55 runs scored. He has played in 77 games.
