Lexington Thoroughbreds starter Roy Evans was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Tallahassee Pirates, 3-2. Scott Linebrink converted his 3rd save in 4 tries. Lexington now has a record of 60-29 with the win.

Sammy Taylor had a timely hit in the top of the seventh inning. With two out and the bases loaded, the Lexington catcher hit a run-scoring single. That put the Thoroughbreds in front, 3-2.
