The Tallahassee Pirates defeated the Toledo Mud Hens, 6-4, in High Indy American action at Swayne Field. Tallahassee pitcher Raisel Iglesias had a standout performance. The winner was Tallahassee reliever Hod Eller, now 2-6. The loser was Ed Hodge. The victory gives Tallahassee a record of 55-52.

With two out in the top of the 17th, Todd Frazier hit a go-ahead 2-run home run. It was his 23rd home run of the season and with it the Pirates took a 6-4 lead.

In postgame remarks, Frazier simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
