Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Bears
|
Salt Lake City wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Russ Kemmerer, falling to the Denver Bears, 3-2. Kemmerer threw 8.1 innings of 6-hit ball for the losing team. With the win, the Bears hiked their record to 42-39.
Ender Inciarte, who is tied for 4th in the HIN in stolen bases with 11, won the game with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the 16th. In the contest, the Denver center fielder went 3-8 with 3 singles.
Inciarte said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
