Grizzlies Suffer 4-0 Loss to Denver
|
The Fresno Grizzlies and Denver Bears left the fans buzzing.
The Fresno Grizzlies went down to defeat to Jack Harshman and his Denver teammates. The final score was 4-0 in favor of the Bears. Harshman got the win, improving to 9-5. He allowed 6 hits and walked 2 over 7.2 innings. Harshman allowed no runs. Scott Alexander recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 5 for 8.
The game could have flipped with one out in the top of the seventh. But Jack Harshman made what his manager later called "an A-plus pitch." With the bases loaded and Fresno trailing 2-0, Harshman threw a curveball to Albie Pearson and Pearson hit into a double play.
The victory gives Denver a record of 47-41.
