Parmelee Homers Twice in 9-1 Millers Win
The Minneapolis Millers trumped the Denver Bears, 9-1, at Bears Stadium. Minneapolis right fielder Chris Parmelee was terrific. He was 3-5 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Minneapolis, now 46-48, holds down last place in the High Indy National HIN Midwest.

Hector Villanueva, the 26-year old catcher , had a direct impact on the outcome. Villanueva contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put Minneapolis up, 3-0.

"We had a nice day," said Minneapolis skipper Nick McGlashan.
