Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Phoenix Firebirds and Fresno Grizzlies.

The Phoenix Firebirds picked up a win at Chuckchansi Park, taking down the Fresno Grizzlies, 4-3. Starting pitcher Gavin Floyd was a big reason why. In 7 innings, Floyd surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 5. He allowed 2 runs. Andrew Bailey earned his 7th save in 9 chances.

In the top of the sixth, Phoenix right fielder Danny Taylor had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and two out, Taylor stroked a 3-run home run to right. It made the score 3-0, Phoenix. For the game, he went 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.

"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Taylor told the Phoenix Chronicle.
