Despite a great performance by Oakland second baseman Placido Polanco, the Salt Lake City Trappers defeated the Oaks by the score of 6-5 at Derks Field. Polanco was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Larry Miller was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 16 of 21 save opportunities.
