Millers Find a Way to Win
The Minneapolis Millers gave their fans something to talk about with a thrilling, walk-off win.

Phoenix got a big-time effort from pitcher Roy Patterson, but it wasn't enough to keep the Minneapolis Millers from winning the game, 4-3. Patterson threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball for the losing team. Minneapolis reliever Dave S Smith was the winner. His record is now 3-7. Andrew Bailey took the loss.

Jose Valentin won the game for Minneapolis when homered off Andrew Bailey in the bottom of the tenth.

"We battled our tails off to get this win," said Minneapolis manager Nick McGlashan.

The Millers now own a record of 58-61.
