McMullen Rips Albany for 5 Hits
|
The Nashua Dodgers stopped the Albany Diamond Dogs by a score of 6-4 at Holman Stadium today, with the lion's share of the credit going to first baseman Ken McMullen. The 22-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits.
"Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," McMullen said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard."
McMullen did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Diamond Dogs.
"Not much that I can say," offered Albany manager Alex Lopez. "He just hammered the heck out of us."
Ken McMullen singled in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th.
Currently McMullen has 3 home runs and a .284 batting average.
