Peaches Listless in 11-0 Loss to Ponies
|
The Harrisburg Ponies rolled to an easy 11-0 win over the Rockford Peaches at Beyer Stadium today. Leading the way to victory was starter Steve Blass, who shackled the Rockford Peaches and held them scoreless on a 1-hitter.
"This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Blass said in his postgame press conference.
To date this season Blass has compiled a 3-2 record with a 3.40 ERA in 5 starts.
