Nashua Wins, 9-8, in Extra Innings
The Nashua Dodgers managed to get by the Harrisburg Ponies, 9-8, at Union Grounds (Brooklyn). Nashua right fielder Max E West set himself apart with his performance. George D Susce earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. His record is now 5-2. The Dodgers, at 34-16, have now won 14 straight.

Buddy Bradford had a timely hit for Nashua in the top of the 11th. With no one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Bradford hit a run-scoring single off Ike Delock. It put the Dodgers in front, 9-8.

"If we play well, we'll win our share of games," said West. "The only team that can beat us is us."
