Nash Too Much for Gems in 3-1 Omaha Win
|
The Omaha Buffaloes got a magnificent effort from pitcher Jim Nash, who kept Flint hitters in check en route to a 3-1 Buffaloes win at Rosenblatt Stadium. Carl Willis finished to wrap up his 1st save. The Gems, at 27-26, have lost 4 in a row.
Nash gave Omaha a solid start. The right-hander, who is listed at 6' 5", 230 lbs, allowed 1 run on 2 hits over 6.1 innings.
Nash called the win "what playing unselfish baseball looks like."
