Bautista Goes Deep Twice in 8-6 Ponies Win
Benefiting from Jose A Bautista's productive game, the Harrisburg Ponies downed the Rockford Peaches, 8-6. Bautista hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Ponies. Reliever A. J. Schugel picked up the win. His record improves to 1-8. Ewell Blackwell took the loss. Earning his 1st save for Harrisburg was Ike Delock.

With the clubs tied 6-6 in the bottom of the seventh and a runner on 1st, Harrisburg sent Bautista to the plate. He got a 2-2 curveball and hit a 2-run home run, to put the Ponies on top, 8-6.

"We'll take this win and move on," said Bautista.
