|
Starting pitcher Oscar Jones was a major factor in the 4-2 Providence Clamdiggers triumph over the Albany Diamond Dogs. Jones, now 8-0, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 11 hits, while striking out 4, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs. The Clamdiggers have an impressive 45-28 record.
