Tomko Sensational for Ponies
|
Harrisburg starter Brett Tomko throttled the Dayton offense, as the Ponies won in a rout, 14-1. The Marcos, now 37-51, have lost 8 straight.
Tomko made it look effortless. He scattered 3 hits over 8.2 innings, while racking up 11 strikeouts. The Harrisburg right-hander encountered little resistance from the Dayton hitters. His season record is now 7-8.
"It's a mindset," said Tomko. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
