DeSclafani 'Lights Out' in Albany Win
|
The Albany Diamond Dogs got a stellar effort from pitcher Anthony DeSclafani, helping Albany score a win over the visiting Canton Terriers, 5-1. Albany raised its record to 49-44 with the win.
DeSclafani, a native of Freehold, New Jersey, was dealing all game. He kept Canton hitters off-balance, while giving the Diamond Dogs 9 quality innings. DeSclafani threw 110 pitches, allowing 5 hits and striking out 10.
"I felt good even in the late innings," said DeSclafani after the game.
