Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Marcos
With second baseman Mike Sharperson leading the charge, the Dayton Marcos defeated the Omaha Buffaloes, 6-5, at Fifth Third Field. Sharperson went 4 for 6 with 4 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Omaha now has a 6-game losing streak.

In the bottom of the 11th, Chris Gwynn knew he could end it with one good swing of the bat. And he did, hitting a solo home run off Omaha pitcher Clem Labine.
