Nash Takes Chainsaw to Dayton Bats in 6-0 Win
|
Jim Nash pitched a gem to lead Omaha to victory over the Dayton Marcos, 6-0. The Buffaloes saw their win-loss record go to 50-51. At the same time, the Marcos fell to 41-60.
Dayton had little success against Nash and his fastball. Nash tossed 104 pitches over 7.1 innings for the Buffaloes.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Nash, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
