Witches Suffer 5-2 Loss to Dayton
|
Dayton Marcos starter Joe Bowman hurled his team past the Wichita Witches, 5-2. Walter Moser notched his 6th save in 9 chances. The win puts Dayton at 45-65.
Also making an impact was designated hitter Lyle Overbay, who drilled a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth inning for the Marcos. For the game, Overbay went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"I went after the hitters," said Bowman. "No pussyfooting around."
