Flying Squirrels Tack 3-1 Loss on Sun Kings
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Richmond Flying Squirrels and the El Paso Sun Kings, Mike Krukow was the difference-maker. The Richmond right-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. The 'W' lifts Richmond's record to 23-26.
Ryan Howard took Carl Erskine deep with one out in the top of the fourth. On a 1-0 fastball, Howard drilled a 2-run home run to left. It was his 19th home run of the season and put Richmond on top, 3-1.
"When I'm in the lineup, I always feel like we're going to win the game," said Howard.
