Hinton 3-3 as White Sox Squeeze Past Trenton
|
In a high-scoring game between Long Beach and Trenton, third baseman Chuck Hinton was a difference-maker. The 28-year-old helped Long Beach grab the 9-8 win. He was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. At 29-35, Long Beach is in last place in the WBL Mid National INDY N - West.
Hinton came through for Long Beach with no one out in the bottom of the seventh. With Long Beach trailing 8-7, Hinton hit a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the White Sox up, 9-8.
