Sidewinders Roll to 8-3 Win Over Swamp Dragons
The home crowd had a good time watching the Shreveport Swamp Dragons and Tucson Sidewinders get after it.

The Tucson Sidewinders defeated the Shreveport Swamp Dragons, 8-3, in WBL Mid National action at Hi Corbett Field. Tucson pitcher Early Wynn had a standout performance. This win makes it 12 in a row for Tucson.

Ned Yost, who is tied for 3rd in the AMN in triples with 3, helped out the Tucson cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a 2-run home run. For the game, the catcher was 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"We'll keep riding this wave as long as we can," said Sidewinders manager Jason Conyers.
