Swamp Dragons Suffer 5-2 Loss to Tucson
Tucson Sidewinders starter Kyle Lohse pitched effectively against the Shreveport Swamp Dragons at Hi Corbett Field. The right-hander spearheaded his team's 5-2 win. Eric O'Flaherty, credited with the save, is now 6 for 8 in save opportunities. Tucson is now 41-25, 4½ games up in the WBL Mid National INDY N - West.

There were several reasons the Sidewinders beat the Swamp Dragons, but one factor was Jeff Hamilton. In the bottom of the first, the Tucson third baseman came to bat and hit a 2-run home run. It staked his team to a 2-0 lead.

Lohse told a Tucson Observer reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
