Sidewinders Lose By a Run at Richmond, 5-4
The Richmond Flying Squirrels downed the Tucson Sidewinders, 5-4, at Parker Field. Ezequiel Carrera led the way, going 3-for-3 for Richmond. Matt Belisle earned the save for Richmond, his 16th of the year. Richmond currently is in third place in the WBL Mid National INDY N - South at 32-37.

Fred Hofmann had a big 2-run double for the Flying Squirrels in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Richmond leading 3-2 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Joe Sullivan and swatted a double to left. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Flying Squirrels ahead, 5-2.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Carrera.
