Danks Lays Hammer Down in 4-1 Win
Pitcher John Danks was sensational for the Honolulu Islanders in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Chattanooga Rats. Danks picked up the win, and it was well-earned. With the win, the Islanders sit at 38-37.

Danks, who dominated for Honolulu, earned the victory to move to 9-5. He was in control the whole game, scattering 4 hits over 9 innings, while striking out 13. Chattanooga batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"I thought we played a nice game," Danks told the Honolulu News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
