Blaze Win, Scott goes 4-for-5

The exploits of left fielder Pete Scott, who is tied for 10th in the AMN in extra base hits with 33, helped the Bakersfield Blaze defeat the Honolulu Islanders, 8-2. Scott was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Tim Leary was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 4 of 4 save opportunities. The win boosted Bakersfield to 43-37.
Scott in the bottom of the third had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and the Blaze leading 2-1, he hit a run-scoring single.
