Getting an impressive start from Will Smith, Honolulu beat Trenton by the score of 8-0. The win boosted Honolulu to 44-43.

It could have been a different outcome for Honolulu, had it not been for Tony Torcato, the 24-year old right fielder . Torcato contributed a solo home run in the top of the second inning to put Honolulu up, 2-0.

"It's easier to pitch when you get run support," said Smith.
