Victory Over Flying Squirrels Takes Trenton to 57-31
Spirited fans greeted the Richmond Flying Squirrels for their clash with the Trenton Thunder.

The Trenton Thunder had to overcome a big game from Richmond designated hitter Johnny Beall to leave Parker Field with a victory. And they did, winning 9-5. Beall went 2 for 3 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The losing streak for Richmond has now reached 5 games.

Trenton relied on the hitting of Dib Williams to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Thunder on top, 3-1. For the game, Williams had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Williams. "And not try to do too much."
