Flying Squirrels Get 8-4 Win Versus Chattanooga
|
The Richmond Flying Squirrels beat the Chattanooga Rats by a score of 8-4. Richmond first baseman Ryan Howard deserved the lion's share of the credit. Howard was 2-5 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Flying Squirrels. Tommy Hughes earned the win to go to 5-5. He allowed 2 runs on 4 hits, with 3 walks and 6 strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work. Earning the save was Matt Belisle. He's now cashed in 20 of 24 save opportunities.
