Sidewinders Bats Go Cold Against Rats
|
In a low-scoring game between Chattanooga and Tucson, pitcher Adalberto Mejia was excellent. The Chattanooga left-hander helped his team knock off the Sidewinders, 3-0. Picking up the save was Felipe Rivero. He's now 15 for 17 in save chances. The win has Chattanooga at 41-62.
Mejia lasted 8 innings, allowing no runs on 3 hits. The Chattanooga left-hander, who is on pace for 211 strikeouts this season, is now 5-10.
"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Mejia told the Chattanooga Bulletin. "Whatever it takes."
