Islanders Keep Losing, Drop 9-2 Contest to Chattanooga
A 4-RBI performance from designated hitter David Lough, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2000 draft, led the Chattanooga Rats to a win over the Honolulu Islanders, 9-2. Chattanooga reliever Paul Shuey picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Frank Viola shouldered the loss. Honolulu is in the throes of a 9-game skid.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Hanley Ramirez? The Chattanooga first baseman had a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Rats on top, 3-2. For the game, Ramirez had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We've had a tough go of it," said Honolulu manager Josh Hasper. "But we'll snap out of this funk."
