One Run Enough for Long Beach

Edgar E Smith of the Long Beach White Sox humiliated the Richmond Flying Squirrels at Blair Field today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 4 hits.
"He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Richmond manager Nate Hoffman, after the game.
Smith whiffed 4 and walked 2 in the 1-0 win.
"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Smith said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."
To date this season Smith is 4-10 with 21 starts and an ERA of 4.19 with 98 strikeouts in 124.2 innings.
