Bush Handcuffs Bears, Trappers Seize 2-0 Advantage in R1
The Salt Lake City Trappers got a strong performance from pitcher Bullet Joe Bush, who stymied the visiting Denver Bears en route to a win, 10-1, in Game 2 of the Round 1 today. The Bears could never get a bead on the right-handed Bush, who threw 9.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The Trappers now hold a 2-0 in the best-of-7 series.

Bush pitched a complete game for Salt Lake City. The right-hander was charged with 1 run on 4 hits. He struck out 7 during his 113-pitch performance.

"I had everything working," said Bush.

Game 3 is scheduled for Saturday at Bears Stadium in Denver.
