Lexington Win to Pull Even With Salt Lake City
The Lexington Thoroughbreds topped the Salt Lake City Trappers by the score of 5-3 and moved into a 2-2 tie in the Round 3 today. The largest share of the credit belongs to Lexington starter Erv Brame, who threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball in the win.

The win was a team effort for Lexington. First Baseman Nick Etten was among the key contributors. In the top of the eighth, he put his team in front, 3-2, when he hit a 2-run home run.

"You come to the ballpark to do your job and that's what I did today," Brame told the Lexington Citizen.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Derks Field in Salt Lake City.
