Menefee Spectacular in 3-0 Win Monday, May 7th , 2001 St. Louis Blues pitcher Jock Menefee really got it done at Miller Park 2020 in a 3-0 shutout victory over the Milwaukee Brewers, shutting them down on 3 hits. "It was just one of those games where everything went right. I threw a lot of strikes," Menefee said. "And the pitches they did get to hit, they didn't do anything with them." The 25-year-old issued 2 walks and had 9 strikeouts in the Blues win. Thus far this season, Menefee has worked 52 innings with 51 strikeouts en route to a 4-2 record and a 2.42 ERA. |
