In a powerful performance that left the fans at Alamodome buzzing, Seattle Rainiers third baseman Miguel Sanó blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 15-4, over the San Antonio Missions.
"Everything was clicking," Sanó told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."
Sanó shined brilliantly in the win, with 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Rainiers manager Davin Chloupek said. "Miguel played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
Miguel Sanó grounded out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Will Ohman in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Will Ohman in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Tim Crews in the 9th.
