Expos Plugged by Ehret, Bees, 8-0 Saturday, May 26th , 2001 The Montréal Expos met their match today in San Jose hurler Red Ehret. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 4-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," Montréal skipper Ignacio Macias said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 8-0 victory, Ehret whiffed 10 and gave up 3 walks. This season, Ehret has a 4-4 record with a 4.48 ERA in 10 starts. |
