Gonzalez Earns May's Top Batter Prize in AAA Friday, June 1st , 2001 On the heels of a very productive May, Luis Gonzalez received WBL Triple A Batter of the Month recognition today. The battle-tested left fielder hit .418 for the San Antonio Missions and racked up 10 home runs, 17 RBIs and 17 runs scored. Gonzalez is hitting .385 this season with 10 home runs, 19 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He has 30 hits in 78 at-bats. |
