Rixey Gets AAA #1 Pitcher Trophy Friday, June 1st , 2001 There was nobody finer on the mound in May and Eppa Rixey cruised to the WBL Triple A Pitcher of the Month award today. He was 5-0 with a 2.38 ERA while piling up 49 strikeouts in 45.1 innings and holding opposing hitters to a .178 batting average. On the year, Rixey has compiled a 7-1 mark with a 3.55 ERA. |
