Kings Not Competitive in 6-0 Loss to Louisville
Wednesday, June 20th , 2001
Louisville Redbirds pitcher Hal Carlson really got it done at Shea Stadium in a 6-0 shutout victory over the Queens Kings, shutting them down on 3 hits.
"It was just one of those games where everything went right. I threw a lot of strikes," Carlson said. "And the pitches they did get to hit, they didn't do anything with them."
The 28-year-old issued 2 walks and had 7 strikeouts in the Redbirds win.
In 14 starts this season, Carlson has notched a 9-1 record and a 5.04 ERA.
