Johnston Socks It to Tides, Cracks 5 Hits Monday, June 25th , 2001 St. Louis Blues left fielder Wade Johnston wielded a big stick against the Norfolk Tides and his club walked off the field winners by the score of 15-2. Johnston helped tame Norfolk with 5 hits in 6 at-bats. Wade Johnston hit a two-run home run off Ray Fontenot in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Ray Fontenot in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off John Burkett in the 9th. |
