Rowdy Players Suspended by League Thursday, June 28th , 2001 Ernie Krueger of the Seattle Rainiers and Eric Wilkins of the Buffalo Bison will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 3 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Rainiers-Bison game at War Memorial Stadium. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Krueger and Wilkins will begin serving them soon. Krueger is batting .300 with 3 home runs and 6 RBIs this season. His record this year is 4-3 in 11 starts and Wilkins has a 4.48 ERA. |
