June's Pitcher of the Month Goes to Carlson Sunday, July 1st , 2001 Hal Carlson of the Louisville Redbirds outdistanced his peers on the mound this month. He fashioned a fine 5-0 won-lost mark and 3.66 ERA in 6 starts to get the WBL Triple A Pitcher of the Month honors. Carlson had a very impressive June, finishing with 37 strikeouts in 46.2 innings and holding opposing hitters to a .237 average. So far this season, Carlson has 10 wins and 1 loss and a 4.90 ERA. |
