Wainwright Electric in 7-0 St. Louis Win

Today was Adam Wainwright's turn in the rotation for the St. Louis Blues and he made the most of it, shutting out the Milwaukee Brewers on 6 hits.
The 25-year-old right-hander led the Blues to an easy 7-0 victory, allowing 2 walks and tallying 10 strikeouts.
"I hope we miss him next time," Milwaukee manager Justin Spraggins said. "Wainwright certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds."
On the year, Wainwright has compiled a 8-10 mark with a 4.37 ERA.
