More Woes for Senators Eddie Murray Monday, July 16th , 2001 Washington Senators first baseman Eddie Murray got another setback today. His doctors informed him that his injury was not responding to treatment as well as they hoped and that he would need more time to rehabilitate. If all goes well, they expect Murray to be ready to go within one week. He told BNN, "I didn't expect a broken collarbone to take this long to heal." This year, Murray has batted at a .305 pace with 61 hits, 16 home runs, 48 RBIs and scored 37 times. |
