Senators, Baldwin Stonewall Newark, 8-0

The Newark Eagles met their match today in Washington hurler Mark Baldwin. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 5-hit shutout.
"He just worked us over," Newark skipper John Harrill said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat."
In the 8-0 victory, Baldwin whiffed 7 and gave up no walks.
This season, Baldwin has worked 142.2 innings with 141 strikeouts en route to a 9-8 record and a 3.72 ERA.
