WBL Triple A Picks Top Performer Monday, July 30th , 2001 Jim Gentile captured all the headlines last week and today he added to his booty with the WBL Triple A Player of the Week trophy. The Queens Kings first baseman hammered league hurlers for 12 hits in 23 at-bats, a .522 average and 6 home runs. He also collected 12 RBIs and 11 runs scored. So far this year, Gentile has 38 home runs and a .309 batting average. |
